Glorious summer!

I LOVE LOVE LOVE London's summer! Everything is rich and green and flourishing...flowers are bright, trees are trees not just dry sticks, and people smile more.

So much has happened in the past couple of weeks - can hardly believe that I've been so slack in keeping up the blog. God is better than ever and I really feel so peaceful and settled in my heart.
SOOOO...in a nutshell...

  • Teaching has been going much better as I learn and grow in experience.
  • Lots of braai's in the nice weather!
  • Caleb Robb's 1st birthday party
  • Going paint-balling with Cheryl (and avoiding bruises!)
  • First meeting of the team going on the Paris Prayer Scout Mission! Really really exciting - so much vision and expectation...this is the first Every Nation move into Europe!
  • An idea for a book: "Short Supply: A Fortnight In London Schools" (drawn from my 'wealth' of experience as a supply teacher!)
  • Seeing Life in the Theatre with Joshua Jackson and Patrick Stewart - wonderful wonderful!
  • Discovering a new park in my area with a wild foresty feel
  • Seeing chestnut trees and sweet-chestnut trees!! (beautiful white and pink blossoms)
  • Finally out of the red financially
  • Only having to travel 20 minutes to school today and yesterday
  • Reading the Narnia series again :)

So you can see...life is beautiful.
