Things I Love About Grahamstown

I can hardly believe it is already nearing mid-Dec! This morning in the office meeting we had some time to think about all the things that happened this year, and what we were grateful for. These are some of the things I love about Gtown...

1) Unpredictable weather - blustery wind, freaky storm-clouds, sweltering heat, crisp mornings, pink dusks, fat rain, slow drizzle, clear skies...
2) Springtime jacarandas and bouganvilleas
3) Familiar strangers
4) Tea at Madhatters/Dulces/Red Cafe
5) Picnics at Grey Dam
6) Seeing nearly everyone you know at the movies
7) Having all you need on two streets
8) Car guards (NOT!!!!)
9) Ten minutes drive and you're far away from EVERYTHING
10) Ten minutes walk and you're close to everything
11) Friends friends friends (sniff* I miss you guys)
